شهد الأسبوع الممتد من 10 إلى 17 أغسطس/آب الحالي تصاعدا لافتا في الأحداث المرتبطة بغزة، مع اغتيال استهدف الصحافة في قلب الميدان، بالإضافة إلى تحوّل عالمي في الشارع عبّر عن تضامن واسع مع القضية الفلسطينية، في مشهد يعكس اتساع دائرة الغضب الشعبي ضد العدوان الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزة.

اغتيال مراسلي الجزيرة في غزة

اُغتيل مراسلو الجزيرة في غزة خلال تغطيتهم المستمرة للعدوان الإسرائيلي، في جريمة صدمت الرأي العام وأثارت موجة تنديد واسعة باستهداف الصحفيين.

ويأتي الاغتيال ضمن سلسلة انتهاكات طالت الطواقم الإعلامية، مما يسلط الضوء على المخاطر المتزايدة التي يواجهها الصحفيون في ساحة حرب تُعتبر من الأخطر في العالم.

مظاهرات عالمية تندد باغتيال الصحفيين

خرجت مظاهرات واسعة في عدة مدن عالمية للتنديد باغتيال الصحفيين في غزة، معتبرة استهداف الإعلام جريمة مضاعفة تهدف إلى إسكات الشهود على جرائم الحرب. ورفع المشاركون صور المراسلين الذين قُتلوا أثناء عملهم، ورددوا شعارات تُطالب بفتح تحقيق دولي ومحاسبة إسرائيل على انتهاكاتها ضد الصحافة، مؤكدين أن قتل الصحفيين محاولة لإخفاء الحقيقة ومنع وصولها إلى العالم.
